This approach can be advantageous when your un-mastered audio already exists as a standalone audio file, and you wish to process it in as straightforward a manner as possible, without the complexity or CPU overhead of running a separate DAW or two-track editor. Ozone 8’s standalone application allows you to use its mastering tools as a standalone application no external DAW or two-track editor is required.
